Struts is an open-source web application framework for developing Java EE web applications. It uses and extends the Java Servlet API and encourages developers to adopt a model-view-controller (MVC) architecture.
Struts is based on Model-View-Controller (MVC) design paradigm, separating all three levels:
Model: Application State
View: Presentation of Data (JSP, HTML)
Controller: Routing of the application flow
It implements the JSP Model 2 Architecture and stores application routing information and requests mapping in a single core file, struts-config.xml. The Struts framework itself only fills in the View and Controller layers. The Model layer is left to the developer.
Our course teaches you how to build a MVC applications based on the Struts 2 release. Throughout our course you will write code to apply what you have learnt and solve programming problems.
You will be given assignments to help you practise what you've learned on your own and you will get to know where your weak points are so that you can focus on those areas.
